Vinification:
Mash fermentation of selected grapes, partial aging in wooden barrels, maturation on lees, filtered.

The Hans Igler Vulcano 2021 comes from Deutschkreuz in Burgenland. The grapes are selectively harvested and traditionally fermented on the skins. Maturation in wooden barrels gives the wine structure, depth and a fine spiciness. The region's soils provide minerality and freshness on the finish. A powerful, elegant food wine with a harmonious drinking flow and ripe tannin structure.
