The 2024 Chardonnay comes from Hohenwarth in the Lower Austria wine region and grows on warm clay soils. The ripe grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed after a short period of maceration. Fermentation takes place under temperature-controlled conditions using cultured yeasts in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in steel tanks until dry. On the nose and palate, it is fragrant and exotic with hints of chocolate-covered banana and apricot. Its delicately creamy structure and juicy finish with ripe pineapple and a slightly salty note make it a versatile food companion.
