Vinification:
9 hours of skin contact, gentle pressing, fermentation and aging in 300-liter barriques, one-third of which are new. Bottled in November 2024.

The 2023 Grauburgunder Reserve Ried Aichleiten comes from the renowned Ried Aichleiten in Hagenbrunn in the southern Weinviertel. The south-facing site on calcareous flysch offers ideal conditions for fully ripe Pinot grapes and gives the wine structure and character. After nine hours of maceration, it was gently pressed and fermented and aged in 300-liter barriques. On the palate, it presents itself as full-bodied and balanced with a fine tannin structure, fruity richness, and a long finish. A powerful, elegant Grauburgunder with excellent aging potential.
