Vinification:
Hand harvest mid-September 2024, immediate gentle processing and transport in small picking crates. Fermentation and aging with long lees contact, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in new oak barrels. Bottling end of April.

The Grüner Veltliner ELIO 2024 is a full-bodied single vineyard wine from Wagram. The hand-picked grapes were harvested in mid-September and immediately processed gently. After fermentation, the wine matured for a long time on its fine lees, developing depth, structure, and creaminess. It was aged in both stainless steel tanks and new oak, which adds extra complexity to the wine. The loess soils of the Stiegl vineyard provide fine minerality and an elegant, long finish. A powerful, balanced Grüner Veltliner with great expression.
