The 2024 Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Ried Loibenberg comes from one of the most important single vineyards in the Wachau. The stone terraces reach up to 420 meters above sea level and are characterized by weathered soils over Gföhl gneiss with loess and loam layers. The sustainably and increasingly organically managed vineyards are harvested by hand, and only healthy grape material is used for this wine. After a short maceration period, the wine is fermented under controlled conditions in stainless steel tanks and then aged for some time on the fine lees. On the palate, it presents itself as powerful, juicy, and elegant, with distinct aromatics, racy freshness, and a harmonious fruit-acid balance.
