Vinification:
Selective harvest in September 2022. Gentle pressing and fermentation in 500-liter Allier oak barrels. Aged for approx. 6 months on fine lees, followed by another 4 months of maturation in wooden barrels (approx. 10 months of barrel aging in total).

The Ried Brunnthal Grüner Veltliner 2022 comes from the top vineyard site Brunnthal in Fels am Wagram. The vines, facing south towards the Danube, benefit from high sun exposure and deep loamy-loess soils, which give the wine ripeness and expression. The selected grapes were gently processed and fermented in 500-liter Allier oak barrels. Subsequently, the wine matured for a total of around 10 months in wood on fine lees, which gives it smoothness, depth, and complexity. A powerful, elegant Veltliner with ripe fruit, fine spice, and a harmonious structure.
