Hand-harvested, gentle processing and fermentation in large wooden barrels. Matured on full and partially fine lees in large wooden barrels.

The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Ried Hohenberg comes from the Erste Lage Hohenberg near Grossweikersdorf. The grapes grow on loess soils with proportions of gravel and conglomerate and were organically farmed. After being hand-picked in October 2023, the wine was fermented in large wooden barrels and aged on its full and fine lees. This aging process gives it depth, structure, and a fine creaminess. A powerful yet elegant single-vineyard wine with spiciness, finesse, and a long finish.
