Description
Description
The Langenlois Ried Käferberg Grüner Veltliner 2022 originates from the renowned Käferberg vineyard in Kamptal, where the vines grow on sand, clay, and marine sediments over gneiss. The selectively hand-picked grapes were whole-bunch pressed and left on the skins for up to 24 hours. Spontaneous fermentation took place in oak barrels, followed by eleven months of aging on the full lees and another eight months on the fine lees. The biodynamically cultivated Käferberg produces a powerful yet precise Grüner Veltliner with juicy fruit, a taut structure, a creamy texture, and fine minerality. A dry, characterful single-vineyard wine with vibrant acidity, spice, and a long citrus finish.
