Description
Description
The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Ried Mühlpoint hails from Loiben in the Wachau and grows on calcareous loess and clay soils. The grapes from vines up to 50 years old are selectively hand-picked and gently processed. After pressing, spontaneous fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by a rest period of about one and a half years for the wine. On the palate, it presents itself as fresh and lively with fine acidity, smoky-peppery spice, and aromas of yellow fruits, mango, and pineapple. An elegant, harmonious, and typically characterful Grüner Veltliner.
