Vinification:
Selective hand-picking, gentle processing, and spontaneous fermentation, 50% in 500-liter wooden barrels and 50% in stainless steel tanks. Followed by at least 4 months of aging in stainless steel tanks.

The Grüner Veltliner Stein 2024 originates from Stein an der Donau in the Kremstal region and grows on loess and Gföhler gneiss soils. The up to 65-year-old vines are cultivated sustainably and selectively hand-picked. The whole grapes are gently processed and spontaneously fermented – half in 500-liter wooden barrels, half in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is aged for at least four months in stainless steel tanks. On the palate, it presents itself juicy, finely structured, and elegant with peppery spice and delicate fruit.
