The Grüner Veltliner Ried Zwirch Erste Lage 2023 comes from a sheltered high-altitude site in the Traisental. The lime-rich conglomerate soil, covered with loess and loess loam, imparts a fine mineral note to the wine. The fully ripe grapes were fermented under controlled conditions after a short maceration period and then aged for eight months on fine lees in large acacia wood barrels. On the palate, it presents itself as substantial and refined with pleasant extract sweetness and delicate white fruit. A characterful, elegant Grüner Veltliner with great depth.
