Vinification: Gentle mash fermentation with short skin contact time, malolactic fermentation, and approximately two years of aging in large wooden barrels without prominent oak notes.

The 2022 Pinot Noir comes from the Ried Mühlweg vineyard in Hohenwarth in the Lower Austria wine region. The vines are rooted in a lime-rich loess and gravel soil, which supports the fine and elegant character of the wine. The grapes are processed with particular care and delicately fermented on the skins for a short time to preserve their fruitiness. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for about two years in large casks, without any dominant oak notes. On the palate, it is elegant and silky with fine tannins, fruity Burgundian notes, and a long, persistent finish.
