Description
Description
The 2011 Riesling "Katharinas Reserve" comes from the renowned Ried Aichleiten in Hagenbrunn, in the southern Weinviertel region. The south-facing site on chalky flysch offers ideal conditions for fully ripe Riesling grapes. The botrytized grapes were selected at the end of October at 23° KMW, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and aged on the lees for a long period. On the palate, the Reserve is intensely fruity, complex, and multi-layered, with a fine extract sweetness and a long-lasting finish. An elegant, characterful Riesling with great aging potential.
