The 2023 Riesling Privat Ried Hochäcker comes from the steep terraces of the Ried Hochäcker in the Kremstal at an altitude of 305–375 m above sea level. The mica schist soil lends it a cool, dark minerality and shapes its characteristic vineyard peach notes. Matured in stainless steel tanks, it presents itself on the palate as powerful and profound with smoky slate notes, high extract richness and lively acidity. A substantial, elegant Riesling with a long, expressive finish.
