The Riesling Ried Pfaffenberg ÖTW Erste Lage 2022 comes from a steep, south-east facing site near Stein an der Donau in the Kremstal. The stony soils of Gföhl gneiss and crystalline primary rock give the wine its characteristic, cool minerality. The hand-picked grapes were spontaneously fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. On the palate, it is powerful and piquant with delicate stone fruit, blossoms, and herbal spice. A versatile Riesling with a distinct character and a long finish.
