2023 Riesling Ried Seeberg

Vinification:
Hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented. Aged on fine lees in steel tanks, with approximately 30% skin-contact fermentation and aging in large wooden barrels. Subsequently blended and bottled together.

The 2023 Riesling Seeberg comes from the south-facing Langenloiser Seeberg vineyard at an altitude of around 350 meters. The grapes were hand-picked and selected multiple times, with the best fruit allowed to ripen on the vine until the end of October. Following spontaneous fermentation, the wine matured on the fine lees in steel tanks; approximately 30% was fermented on the skins and aged in wooden barrels. Blending these two components combines fruit and creaminess with fine minerality and depth. An elegant, off-dry Riesling with a long finish, ideal with rich fish dishes.
