Vinification:
Hand harvest, gentle crushing and short maceration. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging for approx. 3 months on fine lees before bottling.

The 2024 Roter Veltliner comes from the Scheiben and Schafflerberg vineyards in Fels am Wagram. The approximately 20-year-old vines grow on mighty loess soils, which lend the wine freshness and structure. The grapes were hand-picked, gently processed, and left on the skins for a short period before being fermented in stainless steel tanks. A three-month aging period on fine lees provides additional harmony and creaminess. A vibrant, straightforward wine with exotic fruit and clear styling.
