Vinification:
Hand harvest with strict selection. Gentle pressing without skin contact, natural fermentation in temperature-controlled large acacia barrels. Aging on fine lees until April to refine acidity and texture.

The 2023 Roter Veltliner Ried Fumberg comes from Gösing am Wagram and grows on well-drained, sandy-loamy soils in high-altitude, cool sites. The hand-picked grapes were selectively processed and gently pressed, without skin contact. Fermentation took place with natural yeasts in temperature-controlled acacia barrels, followed by aging on fine lees until April of the following year. This process lends the wine creaminess, depth, and a harmonious acidic structure. An elegant, mineral Roter Veltliner with delicate fruit and great aging potential.
